TENTATIVE SHOW TIMES

12:00pm Start Time – (event will run straight through with a 15-30 minute intermission) Group comparisons, Individual presentations and then awards

The following times are tentative and could change depending on the number of entries in each division.
Men's Show Start time: 12:00 PM
Women's Show Start time: 2:15 PM
The schedule of events will take place over several segments to help ease flow of foot traffic over the course of the day, and to help with spectators planning to attend the event.
Segment 1: 12:00 PM-2:30 PM - Men's Bodybuilding, Men's Physique and Men's Classic Physique
Short Intermission
Segment 2: 2:45 PM - 5:00 PM Women's Physique, Figure, Wellness, Bikini
***Awards will take place after EACH segment

Athlete’s Meeting

An athletes meeting will take place starting at 4pm and end by 6:30pm on Friday December 6th.
Location will be at the Host Hotel (Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott San Antonio Airport/North Star Mall) within the conference rooms. This meeting is where final check in’s will take place and you will receive competitor buttons, shirts, and free products.

Tickets

Adult General Admission $50, Under Age 12 General Admission $20, Age 2 and under are free.
Coach or Assistant Pass (backstage access): $100 (only applicable to those helping a competitor prepare backstage). One assistant max per competitor is permitted.
Tickets and Coaches Pass can be purchased at the venue the day of the show (CASH only). Prices are slightly higher the day of the show. Please see the ticket counter upon arrival for your wristband

***Online ticket sales will end the Wednesday before the day of the show (December 4th). Thereafter, purchase tickets on the day of the show.

Entry Fees & Deadlines

If entry is received by October 18th: Entry $110. Entry fee for each additional class is $60. After October 18th an additional late entry fee of $60 applies. December 1st is the last day entries will be accepted.

Categories

Categories being offered are Women’s: Bikini, Figure, Wellness, Physique and Men’s: Bodybuilding, Physique, Classic Physique. Competitors may not participate in more than one category at a show.

Amateur Division Offerings

Bikini: Debut, Teen, Novice, Age 50+, Age 35+ (PQ), Open (PQ)
Women’s Wellness: Debut, Teen, Novice, Age 35+ (PQ), Open (PQ)
Figure: Debut, Teen, Novice, Age 35+ (PQ), Open (PQ)
Women’s Physique: Debut, Teen, Novice, Age 35+ (PQ), Open (PQ)
Men’s Physique: Debut, Teen, Novice, Age 40+ (PQ), Open (PQ)
Men’s Classic Physique: Debut, Teen, Novice, Age 40+ (PQ), Open (PQ)
Men’s Bodybuilding: Debut, Teen, Novice, Age 50+, Age 40+ (PQ), Open (PQ)

DEBUT ELIGIBILITY: First competition ever. Competitors cannot have ever competed in any category with any organization.
NOVICE ELIGIBILITY: Cannot have placed first in any class (besides teen) within any division, within any category, with any organization (with the exception of cases where first place was won in a class that only had one competitor in it.

Classes

When more than one class in a division, classes are formed by dividing competitors evenly by height. Classes will be split into multiple classes when more than 10 competitors are registered in a class. Classes will be added continuously so no more than 10 competitors will be in a class.

Entering More than One Division (Crossover Entries)

A crossover entry is entering more than one division within a category. For example, someone may enter the Novice division, if eligible, and also crossover into the Open division and compete in it as well. Competitors may not participate in more than one category (Bikini, Wellness, Figure, Physique, Bodybuilding, Classic Physique) at any given show.

Awards

Awards will be presented to the top 5 placement winners in each class. Awards to include unique designed medals for 4th & 5th place and for most classes, Beautiful Sculptures for the 1st-3rd place winners. Tiara’s will be presented to the overall winner in open class for all women’s categories.
OCB Pro Cards will be awarded in Open (minimum 5 athletes) and Masters classes (minimum 3). Best poser award given to one of the women and one to the men of the entire event.
OCB Pro Card status will be awarded to overall division winners of the open divisions: Men's Bodybuilding, Classic Physique, Men's Physique, Women's Physique, Wellness, Figure & Bikini Open.
OCB MASTERS PRO Card status will be presented to 1st Place winners of: Women's age 35+ divisions and Men's 40+ divisions.

All competitors are required to be current members of OCB to participate in this event. If needing to obtain the annual membership, please register by a week before the event. Memberships can be purchased on OCBonline.com.
This is a natural (drug-free) competition. All competitors must meet eligibility criteria listed in the OCB drug testing guidelines in order to participate. Prior to registering, competitors should review the procedures and list of banned substances posted on OCBonline.com

Banned Substances Screening Methods

All competitors are required to be drug tested prior to competing. In addition, all OCB overall winners in the open and masters classes are required to provide a urine specimen immediately after the conclusion of the event for urinalysis.

Check-Ins/Drug Screenings

Drug sreenings by appointment only and conducted at the host Hotel on Friday December 6th, 2024.
The polygraph fee is $60 and is payable in cash only at the time of testing. Exact change would be appreciated. Results are valid for other OCB shows held within three weeks.

Music

House Music will be played for all categories with the exception of the Women’s Physique and Men’s Bodybuilding Routines. Please send the music mp3 or m4a file as an email attachment to michiganocb@gmail.com.
Music must not to contain any profanity. If music is not received for any competitor by December 4th, house music will be used for them the day of the event. If needed, mp3 files of songs can be purchased from Amazon.com for around $1, downloaded, and then emailed as a file attachment. All music must be sent as a digital file. Competitors can send complete songs if they wish, the music would just be faded out after the stage walk is finished. When sending music state whether the music should start after you get set on stage, or before you come out.

It’s recommended to make reservations by 11/27. After that the hotel will release any unreserved rooms for general sale and, in the hotel’s discretion, will accept reservations at the group rate on a space and rate available basis.

Backstage Policy

One assistant max per competitor is allowed backstage. The assistant must purchase a trainer/assistant ticket, which is good for general admission and backstage access.

Competitor Prep Area

Light weights, bands and mirrors will be backstage for use in preparing to go on stage. Competitors are welcome to bring their own equipment and mirrors as well.

Stage Photography Coverage

Video Recording Policy

Competitors and friends/family are welcome to bring cell phones for recording, however NO professional cameras are allowed in the venue.
