Time & Format

12:00pm Start Time – (event will run straight through with a 30-minute intermission after group comparisons and before individual presentations/awards).

Athlete’s Meeting

An athletes meeting will take place starting at 4pm and end by 6:30pm on Friday December 6th
Location will be at the Host Hotel (TBD) within the conference rooms
This meeting is where final check in’s with take place and competitor buttons, shirts etc will be received.

Tickets

Adult General Admission $50, Under Age 12 General Admission $20, Coach or Assistant (backstage access): $100 (only applicable to those helping a competitor prepare back stage). One assistant max per competitor is permitted. Online ticket sales available through Paypal. Online sales will end on December 6th, midnight

Entry Fees & Deadlines

If entry is received by October 18th: Entry $110. Entry fee for each additional class $60. After October 18th an additional late entry fee of $50 applies. December 5th is the last day entries will be accepted. (Additional classes can be added at the athlete check-in)

Categories

Categories being offered are Women’s: Bikini, Figure, Wellness, Physique and Men’s: Bodybuilding, Physique, Classic Physique. Competitors may not participate in more than one category at a show.

Bikini: Debut, Teen, Novice, Age 50+, Age 35+ (PQ), Open (PQ)
Women’s Wellness: Debut, Teen, Novice, Age 35+ (PQ), Open (PQ)
Figure: Debut, Teen, Novice, Age 35+ (PQ), Open (PQ)
Women’s Physique: Debut, Teen, Novice, Age 35+ (PQ), Open (PQ)
Men’s Physique: Debut, Teen, Novice, Age 40+ (PQ), Open (PQ)
Men’s Classic Physique: Debut, Teen, Novice, Age 40+ (PQ), Open (PQ)
Men’s Bodybuilding: Debut, Teen, Novice, Age 50+, Age 40+ (PQ), Open (PQ)

DEBUT ELIGIBILITY: First competition ever. Competitors cannot have ever competed in any category with any organization.
NOVICE ELIGIBILITY: Cannot have placed first in any class (besides teen) within any division, within any category, with any organization (with the exception of cases where first place was won in a class that only had one competitor in it.

Classes

When more than one class in a division, classes are formed by dividing competitors evenly by height. Classes will be split into multiple classes when more than 8 competitors are registered in a class. Classes will be added continuously so no more than 7 competitors will be in a class.

Entering More than One Division (Crossover Entries)

A crossover entry is entering more than one division within a category. For example, someone may enter the Novice division, if eligible, and also crossover into the Open division and compete in it as well. Competitors may not participate in more than one category (Bikini, Wellness, Figure, Physique, Bodybuilding, Classic Physique) at any given show.

Awards

OCB Pro Card status will be awarded to overall division winners of Women's Physique Open, Figure open, Wellness open & Bikini Open, Bodybuilding, Classic Physique, and Physique
OCB MASTERS PRO Card status will be presented to 1st Place winners of: Women's Physique 35+, Figure 35+ , Wellness 35+, Bikini 35+, Bodybuilding 40+, Classic Physique 40+ and Physique 40+.

Eligibility

All competitors are required to be current members of OCB to participate in this event. If needing to obtain the annual membership, please register by a week before the event. Memberships can be purchased on OCBonline.com.
This is a natural (drug-free) competition. All competitors must meet eligibility criteria listed in the OCB drug testing guidelines in order to participate. Prior to registering, competitors should review the procedures and list of banned substances posted on OCBonline.com

Banned Substances Screening Methods

All competitors are required to be drug tested prior to competing. In addition, all OCB overall winners in the open and masters classes are required to provide a urine specimen immediately after the conclusion of the event for urinalysis.

Check-Ins/Drug Screenings

Drug sreenings by appointment only and conducted at the host Hotel on Friday December 6th, 2024.
The polygraph fee is $60 and is payable in cash only at the time of testing. Exact change would be appreciated. Results are valid for other OCB shows held within three weeks.

Music

House Music will be played for all categories with the exception of the Women’s Physique and Men’s Bodybuilding Routines. Please send the music mp3 or m4a file as an email attachment to michiganocb@gmail.com.
Music must not to contain any profanity. If music is not received for any competitor by December 4th, house music will be used for them the day of the event. If needed, mp3 files of songs can be purchased from Amazon.com for around $1, downloaded, and then emailed as a file attachment. All music must be sent as a digital file. Competitors can send complete songs if they wish, the music would just be faded out after the stage walk is finished. When sending music state whether the music should start after you get set on stage, or before you come out.

Backstage Policy

One assistant max per competitor is allowed backstage. The assistant must purchase a trainer/assistant ticket, which is good for general admission and backstage access.

Competitor Prep Area

Light weights, bands and mirrors will be backstage for use in preparing to go on stage. Competitors are welcome to bring their own equipment and mirrors as well.

Stage Photography Coverage

Stage photo coverage services will be available from Magic Dreams Productions (Matty Jacobsen). Order forms with details about coverage will be available at show check-ins. For pre-bookings, email mb_jacobsen@yahoo.com

Video Recording Policy

Competitors and friends/family are welcome to bring cell phones for recording, however NO professional cameras are allowed in the venue.
