*Straight through format for both shows-Group comparisons, individual routines awards at the end
*A competitor meeting will take place on-stage at 11:20am for last minute questions, posing locations and stage entrance.

Athlete’s Meeting

All athletes are required to check in at the host hotel between 4-6pm on Friday August 9th, 2024
The location will take place within the conference room at the Host Hotel. This meeting is where final check in’s will take place and competitor buttons, shirts, free products from our sponsors etc will be received.

Tickets

Adult General Admission $50, Under Age 12 General Admission $20, Coach or Assistant (backstage access): $100 (only applicable to those helping a competitor prepare back stage). One assistant max per competitor is permitted.

Entry Fees & Deadlines

If entry is received before June 29th: then the registration fee is $109 for the first entry. Entry fee for each additional class is $60. After June 29th. an additional late entry fee of $50 applies. August 7th is the last day entries will be accepted. (Additional classes may be added at the athlete check-in)

Categories

Categories being offered are Women’s: Bikini, Figure, Wellness, Physique and Men’s: Bodybuilding, Physique, Classic Physique. Competitors may not participate in more than one category at a show.

Bikini: Junior, Debut, Teen, Novice, Age 35+ (PQ), Age 50+, Open,(PQ)
Women’s Wellness: Junior, Debut, Teen, Novice, Age 35+ (PQ), Open (PQ)
Figure: Junior, Debut, Teen, Novice, Age 35+ (PQ), Open (PQ)
Women’s Physique: Junior, Debut, Teen, Novice, Age 35+ (PQ), Open (PQ)
Men’s Physique: Junior, Physically Challenged, Debut, Teen, Novice, Age 40+ (PQ), Open (PQ)
Men’s Classic Physique: Junior, Debut, Teen, Novice, Age 40+ (PQ), Open (PQ)
Men’s Bodybuilding: Junior, Debut, Teen, Novice, Age 50+, Age 40+ (PQ), Open (PQ)
DEBUT ELIGIBILITY: First competition ever. Competitors cannot have ever competed in any category with any organization.
NOVICE ELIGIBILITY: Cannot have placed first in any class (besides teen) within any division, within any category, with any organization (with the exception of cases where first place was won in a class that only had one competitor in it.

Classes

When more than one class in a division, classes are formed by dividing competitors evenly by height. Classes will be split into multiple classes when more than 8 competitors are registered in a class. Classes will be added continuously so no more than 7 competitors will be in a class.

Entering More than One Division (Crossover Entries)

A crossover entry is entering more than one division within a category. For example, someone may enter the Novice division, if eligible, and also crossover into the Open division and compete in it as well. Competitors may not participate in more than one category (Bikini, Figure, Physique, Bodybuilding, Classic Physique) at any given show.

Awards

Awards will be presented to the top 5 placement winners in each class.
Awards to include medals for 4th & 5th place as well as Debut & Novice and other trophies or swords to 1st and 2nd, more details to come.
Tiara’s will be presented to the overall winner in open class for all women’s categories
OCB Pro Cards will be awarded in Open (minimum 5 athletes) and Masters classes (minimum 3).

OCB Pro Card status will be awarded to overall division winners of Men's Bodybuilding Open, Classic Physique Open, Men's Physique Open, Women's Physique Open, Wellness, Figure & Bikini Open.
OCB MASTERS PRO Card status will be presented to 1st Place winners of: Women's age 35+ divisions and Men's 40+ divisions.

Eligibility

All competitors are required to be current members of OCB to participate in this event. If needing to obtain the annual membership, please register by a week before the event. Memberships can be purchased on OCBonline.com.
This is a natural (drug-free) competition. All competitors must meet eligibility criteria listed in the OCB drug testing guidelines in order to participate. Prior to registering, competitors should review the procedures and list of banned substances posted on OCBonline.com

Banned Substances Screening Methods

All competitors are required to be polygraph tested prior to competing. In addition, all OCB overall winners in the open and masters classes are required to provide a urine specimen immediately after the conclusion of the event for urinalysis.

Polygraph by appointment only and conducted at the host Hotel on Friday 8/9/24.
The polygraph fee is $60 and is payable in cash only at the time of testing. Exact change would be appreciated. Polygraph results are valid for other OCB shows held within three weeks. All athletes are required to check in at the host hotel between 4-6pm on Friday August 9th. The location will take place within the conference room at the Host Hotel. Music

House Music will be played for all categories with the exception of the Women’s Physique and Men’s Bodybuilding Routines. Please send the music mp3 or m4a file as an email attachment to kentuckyocb@gmail.com. Music must not contain any profanity. If music is not received for any competitor by August 7th, house music will be used for them the day of the event. If needed, mp3 files of songs can be purchased from Amazon.com for around $1, downloaded, and then emailed as a file attachment. All music must be sent as a digital file. Competitors can send complete songs if they wish, the music would fade out after the stage walk is finished. When sending music, state whether the music should start after you get set on stage, or before you come out.

Backstage Policy

One assistant max per competitor is allowed backstage. The assistant must purchase a trainer/assistant ticket, which is good for general admission and backstage access.

Competitor Prep Area

Light weights, bands and mirrors will be backstage for use in preparing to go on stage. Competitors are welcome to bring their own equipment and mirrors as well.

Stage Photography Coverage

Video Recording Policy

Competitors and friends/family are welcome to bring cell phones for recording, however NO professional cameras are allowed in the venue.
