OCB Eastern America Championships (Pro Qualifier)

This contest is an OCB Pro Qualifier for the Open and Masters (35+/40+) when minimum entries are met.

Time

The show will begin at 10:00 AM and will follow a straight through format with a 15 minute intermission after group comparisons and before individual presentations/awards

Adult general admission $35
Under age 12 General Admission $10
Assistant (general admission plus backstage access) $55 (only applicable to those helping a competitor prepare backstage). Assistant passes are only available for purchase at athlete check-in. rn One assistant max per competitor is permitted. Tickets will be available for purchase online through 08/31/2024. After then they will only be available for purchase at the door the day of the contest, cash only

Entry Fees & Deadlines

If entry is received by August 17th: Entry $69. Entry fee for each additional class $49. After August 17th an additional late entry fee of $50 applies. August 24th is the last day entries will be accepted.

Categories

Categories being offered are Bikini, Figure, Women's Physique, Wellness, Bodybuilding, Men's Physique, and Men's Classic Physique. Competitors may not participate in more than one category at a time.

Bikini: Novice, Age 35+, Age 50+, Open
Wellness: Novice, Age 35+, Open
Figure: Novice, Age 50+, Age 35+, Open
Men's Physique: Novice, Age 40+, Open
Men's Classic Physique: Novice, Age 40+, Open
Men's Bodybuilding: Teen, Novice, Age 50+, Age 40+, Open
Women's Physique: Open, Age 35+

Classes

When more than one class in a division, classes are formed by dividing competitors evenly by height.

Crossovers (Entering More Than One Division)

A crossover entry is entering more than one division within a category. For example, someone may enter the Novice division, if eligible, and also crossover into the Open division and compete in it as well. Competitors may not participate in more than one category (Bikini, Figure, Physique, Bodybuilding, Classic Physique) at any given show.

Awards

Awards will be presented to the top 5 placement winners in each class.

Eligibility

All competitors are required to be current members of OCB to participate in this event. If needing to obtain the annual membership, please register by a week before the event. Memberships can be purchased on OCBonline.com. This is a natural (drug-free) competition. All competitors must meet eligibility criteria listed in the OCB drug testing guidelines inorder to participate. Prior to registering, competitors should review the procedures and list of banned substances posted on OCBonline.com. All competitors are required to be current members of OCB to participate in this event. If needing to obtain the annual membership, please register by a week before the event. Banned Substances & Screening Methods

All competitors are required to be polygraph tested prior to competing. In addition, all winners are required to provide a urine specimen immediately after the conclusion of the event for urinalysis.

Music

All competitors for Bodybuilding, Men’s Classic Physique, Women’s Physique are to send their routine/stage walk music mp3 or m4a file as an email attachment to (tmannocb@gmail.com). Music must not to contain any profanity. If music is not received for any competitors by 09/24/2024, house music will be used for them the day of the event. If needed, mp3 files of songs can be purchased from Amazon.com for around $1, downloaded, and then emailed as a file attachment. All music must be sent as a digital file. Competitors can send complete songs if they wish, the music would just be faded out after the stage walk is finished. For Bodybuilding, Men’s Classic Physique and Women's Physique, when sending music state whether the music should start after you get set on stage, or before you come out.

Backstage Policy

One assistant max per competitor is allowed backstage. The assistant must purchase a trainer/assistant ticket, which is good for general admission and back stage access.

Competitor Prep Area

Light weights, bands and mirrors will be backstage for use in preparing to go on stage. Competitors are welcome to bring their own equipment and mirrors as well.
