Early bird entry before 2nd August: $100 USD for first division.Entry fee includes:
- first division entry, competitor pack including show t-shirt/tank
Additional divisions: $65 USD each
To assist with budgeting, additional divisions may be added any time up until close of registrations Wednesday 23rd August. Please email the show promoter Lisa Blackburn at Ocbaustralia@gmail.com if wanting to add divisions after the initial registration.
Pre-show drug screen is MANDATORY for all athletes. Fee is $100 AUD, paid at check-in. Screening will be conducted on either 28th or 29th August and is paid only by athletes who are competing and therefore paid on the day of testing. OCB Membership – valid for 12 months from date of purchase: $115 USD. Must be purchased prior to check-in Saturday 29th August. Entries received after 2nd August incur an additional late entry fee $35 USD. Sunday 23rd August is the last day entries will be accepted. Division fees are non- refundable but can be used as credit towards future shows.
Categories
Categories being offered are:
Women: Bikini, Figure, Wellness, Women’s Physique
Men: Bodybuilding, Men’s Classic Physique, Men’s Physique.
Competitors may not compete/ cross over in more than one category at the same show.
Division Offerings
Women’s categories: Teen, Junior, Debut, Novice, Age 35+*, 50+, Open*
Men’s categories: Teen, Junior, Debut, Novice, Age 40+*, 50+, Open*
Competitors may enter as many divisions within a category they are eligible for. Other age categories may be offered e.g. 60+ depending on level of interest and competitors registered.
*35+ Women, 40+ Men and Open divisions are pro qualifying divisions when pro qualifying conditions are met (minimum numbers on stage required) Please visit www.ocbonline.com for further information regarding pro qualification.
Teen: Ages 16 – 19 years. Under 18 requires parental consent.
Junior: Age 16 – 22 years. Under 18 requires parental consent.
Debut: First competition ever in any category and with any organization.
Novice: Cannot have placed first in any class (besides Teen), within any division, within any category, with any organization (with the exception of cases where first place was won in a class that only had one competitor in it).
Age: Age as of day of contest and must fall within stipulated age range e.g. Age 50+
Open: Open to any competitor regardless of age and level of experience.
Classes
When more than one class in a division, classes are formed by dividing competitors evenly by height.
Entering More than One Division (Crossover Entries)
A crossover entry is entering more than one division within a category. For example, someone may enter the Novice division, if eligible, and also crossover into the Open division and compete in it as well. Competitors may not participate in more than one category (Bikini, Figure, Physique, Bodybuilding, Classic Physique) at any given show.
Awards
Awards will be presented to the top 5 placement winners in each class.
Eligibility
All competitors are required to be current members of OCB to participate in this event. If needing to obtain the annual membership, please register by a week before the event. Memberships can be purchased on OCBonline.com.
This is a natural (drug-free) competition. All competitors must meet eligibility criteria listed in the OCB drug testing guidelines in order to participate. Prior to registering, competitors should review the procedures and list of banned substances posted on OCBonline.com
Banned Substances Screening Methods
All competitors are required to undergo a drug screen/polygraph prior to competing. The drug screen must be passed to step on stage. In addition, all pro qualifying placement winners are required to provide a urine specimen immediately after the conclusion of their event for urinalysis. Competitors who are to provide urine samples, will be taken immediately from the stage to the testing area and will not be able to leave or have contact with any other persons other than OCB official urine collectors, until testing is completed. All samples are sent to an Olympic drug testing facility in the USA and can take up to 4 to 6 weeks to process and receive your result.
Check-Ins/Drug Screenings
Check-ins and polygraph screening will be conducted on Saturday 29th August by an OCB certified drug screening official. Venue and times TBC. Appointment schedule will be sent out to registered competitors two weeks prior to the event to preselect their preferred appointment time.
Music
Bodybuilding, Men’s Classic Physique and Women’s Physique categories have the opportunity to perform a 60 second (maximum) routine to music of their choice. Music must not contain any profanity. Costume and props may be used.
Music is to be in mp3 or mp4 format and sent as an email attachment to OCBAustralia@gmail.com
Please state in the email, whether the music is to start when you are on stage or before entering the stage.
If music is not received by midnight Sunday 23 August, house music will be used.
For all other categories (Men’s physique, bikini, wellness, figure), competitors have the opportunity to complete a stage walk (I-walk) to house music. Costumes and props may be used and competitors may include non-compulsory poses.
Posing routines and stage walks are completed after comparison rounds and do not count towards formal judging but do count towards posing/ presentation awards.

Backstage Policy
One assistant max per competitor is allowed backstage. One backstage pass is included in the competitors’ initial entry fee.
Competitor Prep Area
Light weights, bands and mirrors will be backstage for use in preparing to go on stage. Competitors are welcome to bring their own equipment and mirrors as well.
Competitors are to use allocated bathrooms in the competitor prep area (downstairs) only. Upstairs bathrooms are for non competitors/ general public.
A microwave oven will be available for food preparation as well as bottled water.
Tanning and hair and make up will be located in the competitor prep area.
Photography Coverage / Media Team
Stage photo and video coverage services will be available from BAN Studios. BAN Studios provide competitors with flexible options and fast delivery, allowing you to preview all photos and build your own photo and video package with no prepayment required. Photo and video packages may be purchased pre or post show and will remain available to purchase after the show.

Video Recording Policy
No professional photography/ videography equipment allowed in the auditorium. Mobile phones are allowed.
