OCB Space City Muscle (Pro Qualifier*)

This event is an OCB Pro Qualifier (Open & Masters) for each division meeting the minimum number of competitors.

Doors open to the public at 9:30 AM.
10:00 am: Men’s show (Will run straight through with Prejudging, Individual presentations, followed by Finals/Awards)

Intermission

1:00 PM Women’s show will start no SOONER than 1pm (Will run straight through with Prejudging, Individual presentations, followed by Finals/Awards)

All-Day Pass, general admission: $60
Ages 13-18: $20 (full day)
Ages 12 & under: Free
*Backstage Assistant: $75
*This all-day pass is for those helping a competitor prepare backstage. ONLY ONE assistant per competitor is permitted. Backstage Assistant passes WILL ONLY BE SOLD AT CHECK-IN. *One free backstage pass/admission to the show will be given to each Teen competitor (16-19 y/o)
Tickets are non-refundable.
Tickets may be purchased online through 2/12 After that, tickets will only be available for purchase at the door on the day of the contest.

Categories

Categories being offered for women are: Bikini, Figure, Wellness, and Women’s Physique.
Categories being offered for men are: Bodybuilding, Classic Physique and Men’s Physique.
Competitors may not participate in more than one category at a show.

Entry Fees & Deadlines

Entry fee for the first division is $100, and $75 for each additional division entered. Starting Saturday, January 17, a late fee of $50 will be added to every entry. February 6th is the last day to register. Entry fees are non-refundable.

Amateur Division Offerings for all categories:

Open, Debut: first competition ever, Teen, Novice, Age 35+ (women only), Age 40+(men only), Age 50+

DEBUT ELIGIBILITY: First competition ever. Competitors cannot have ever competed in any category with any organization. NOVICE ELIGIBILITY: Cannot have placed first in any class (besides Teen), within any division, within any category, with any organization (with the exception of cases where first place was won in a class that only had one competitor in it).

Classes

When there is more than one class in a division, classes are formed by dividing competitors evenly by height.

Entering More than One Division (Crossover Entries)

A crossover entry is entering more than one division within a category. For example, someone may enter the Novice division, if eligible, and also crossover into the Open division and compete in it as well. Competitors may not participate in more than one category (Bikini, Figure, Wellness, Women’s Physique, Bodybuilding, Classic Physique, Men’s Physique) at any given OCB show.

Awards

Awards will be presented to the top 5 placement winners in each class. OCB Pro cards will be awarded when minimum entries are met.

Eligibility

All competitors are required to be current members of OCB to participate in this event. If you need to obtain the annual membership, please register no later than one week before the event. Memberships can be purchased at OCBonline.com, and are good for a full year from the date of purchase.

Banned Substances Screening Methods

All competitors are required to be drug tested prior to competing. In addition, all OCB pro qualifying winners are required to provide a urine specimen immediately after the conclusion of the event for urinalysis.

Check-Ins/Drug Screenings

Check-ins begin at 9:00 am on Friday, February 13 at (Location TBD). Drug screenings are to be scheduled by the athlete upon receipt of the email. The screening fee is $60, and is payable in cash only at the time of testing. Exact change would be appreciated. Please schedule your drug screen appointment so it's before your spray tanning appointment if doing both the same day.

Backstage Policy

Only athletes and those with backstage passes are allowed backstage. Coaches are expected to act in a professional manner, with respect for staff and every athlete. Expeditors have full permission to remove anyone not acting in such a manner.

Competitor Prep Area

The promoters will provide a small quantity of bands, but we highly recommend bringing your own to ensure you have pump up equipment. Be respectful of every athlete and their space.

Photography Coverage

Video Recording Policy

Competitors and friends/family are welcome to bring personal recording devices. Tripods and professional recording equipment are not allowed.
