Tickets provide you all day access. Coaches, backstage assistants must purchase a ticket.

Entry Fees & Deadlines

If entry is received by August 11th: USD $100 for first class. Additional class: USD $50
Entry received after August 11th: additional late entry fee USD $20 applies
August 18th is the last day entries will be accepted.

In addition to registration, athletes must also purchase an OCB amateur membership (valid for 1 year), which is $115 US.
**Entry fees are non-refundable.

Categories

Categories being offered are Bikini, Figure, Wellness, Women’s Physique, Bodybuilding, Men’s Physique, and Men’s Classic Physique. Competitors may not participate in more than one category at a show.

Women’s Wellness: Junior, Debut, Novice, Age 35+ (PQ), 50+, Open (PQ)
Figure: Junior, Debut, Novice, Age 35+ (PQ), 50+, Open (PQ)
Women’s Physique: Junior, Debut, Novice, Age 35+(PQ), 50+, Open (PQ)
Men’s Physique: Junior, Debut, Novice, Age 40+ (PQ), 50+, Open (PQ)
Men’s Classic Physique: Junior, Debut, Novice, Age 40+ (PQ), 50+, Open (PQ)
Men’s Bodybuilding: Junior, Debut, Novice, Age 40+ (PQ), 50+, Open (PQ)

Junior: Age 22 and under. *under age 18 with parental consent
Debut: First competition ever. Competitors cannot have ever competed in any category with any organization.
Novice: Cannot have placed first in any class besides Teen, within any division, within any category, with any organization or at any independent event, with the exception of cases where first place was won in a class where the competitor was the only one in the class.
Open: Open to everyone regardless of age and level of experience.
Age: Age as of day of contest must fall within the stipulated age range (Ex: Age 50 & Over).

PQ: Pro qualifying division when requirements are met. OCB pro cards are awarded in the Open, Masters Age 35+ (women), or Age 40+ (men) divisions when the following number of athletes in a class appear on stage:
Open Men’s Physique, Men’s Classic Physique, Women’s Figure, Women's Wellness and Women’s Bikini: 5
Open Men’s Bodybuilding and Open Women’s Physique: 3
Masters Age 35+ women’s categories: 3
Masters Age 40+ men’s categories: 3
Competitors who win a pro-qualifying placement in a Masters Age 35+ (women) or Masters Age 40+ (men) divisions are eligible only for their Master Age pro divisions. Masters competitors who win pro-qualifying placements in an Open division are considered eligible for both OCB Pro Open and OCB Pro Masters contests.
Competitors who qualify as OCB pros for any category are considered eligible for all OCB pro categories of their sex. Competitors may not compete in more than one category at any given OCB pro show.

Classes

When more than one class in a division, classes are formed by dividing competitors evenly by height.

Entering More than One Division (Crossover Entries)

A crossover entry is entering more than one division within a category. For example, someone may enter the Novice division, if eligible, and also crossover into the Open division and compete in it as well. Competitors may not participate in more than one category (Bikini, Figure, Physique, Bodybuilding, Classic Physique) at any given show.

Awards

Awards will be presented to the top 5 placement winners in each class.

Eligibility

All competitors are required to be current members of OCB to participate in this event. If needing to obtain the annual membership, please register by a week before the event. Memberships can be purchased on OCBonline.com.
This is a natural (drug-free) competition. All competitors must meet eligibility criteria listed in the OCB drug testing guidelines in order to participate. Prior to registering, competitors should review the procedures and list of banned substances posted on OCBonline.com

Banned Substances Screening Methods

All competitors are required to be polygraph tested prior to competing. In addition, all pro qualifying placement winners are required to provide a urine specimen immediately after the conclusion of the event for urinalysis.

Check-Ins/Drug Screenings

Check-ins, base tan and drug screening will be conducted on Saturday 24th August at Quest Springfield Central, 4 Wellness Way, Springfield Central 4300

An email with a link to book an appointment will be sent upon confirmation of athlete registration.

Music

Bodybuilding, Men’s Classic Physique and Women’s Physique categories are to perform a 60 second (maximum) routine to music of their choice. Music must not contain any profanity.
Music is to be in mp3 or mp4 format and sent as an email attachment to OCBAustralia@gmail.com
Please state in the email, whether the music is to start when you are on stage or before entering the stage.
If music is not received by midnight Saturday 17th August, house music will be used.
For all other categories (Men’s physique, bikini, wellness, figure), house music will be used for individual stage walks.

Quest Springfield Central and Quest Ipswich are our host hotels.
Registration, polygraph screening and base tan will be conducted at Quest Springfield Central on Saturday 24th August.

Backstage Policy

One assistant per competitor is allowed backstage. The assistant must purchase a general admission ticket and will be provided with a backstage pass

Competitor Prep Area

Light weights and mirrors will be backstage for use in preparing to go on stage. Competitors are welcome to bring their own equipment and mirrors as well.
Competitors are to use allocated bathrooms in the competitor prep area (downstairs) only. Upstairs bathrooms are for non competitors/ general public.
A microwave oven will be available for food preparation as well as bottled water.
Tanning and hair and make up will be located in the competitor prep area.

Photography Coverage

Stage photo and video coverage services will be available from BAN Studios. Video Recording Policy

No professional photographic equipment allowed. Mobile phones only.

Spray Tanning Services

Spray tanning services will be available from Global Natural Tans. Please visit www.global natural tans.com to book tanning services.

Show day top coat, touch ups: Sunday 25th August at competition venue Ipswich Civic Centre
Out of respect for the venue Dream Tan will not be allowed at the competition.
