Time and Format

9:30 am is a mandatory competitors meeting
10:00 am is event start time.
Event will run straight through with a 30-minute intermission after group comparisons and before individual presentations/awards.

Should entries exceed the capacity of the venue, the show may be segmented with men in the morning and women in the afternoon. Updates will be provided as we get closer to show day.

Entry Fees & Deadlines

Entry fee prior to July 14: $85 for the first class, $50 for each crossover class
Entry fee after July 14: $130 for the first class, $50 for each crossover class.
The final day to register is August 4, 2023

Categories

Categories being offered are Bikini, Wellness, Figure, Women’s Physique, Bodybuilding, Men’s Physique, Men’s Classic Physique, and Wellness. Competitors may not participate in more than one category at a show.

Men’s Physique: Novice, Age 40+, Open
Men’s Classic Physique: Novice, Age 40+, Open
Men’s Bodybuilding: Novice, Age 40+, Open
Women’s Physique: Novice, Age 35+, Open

NOVICE ELIGIBILITY: Cannot have placed first in any class (besides Teen), within any division, within any category, with any organization (with the exception of cases where first place was won in a class that only had one competitor in it).

Classes

When divisions are too large to fit all competitors on stage, the division will be split into evenly sized height classes.

Entering More than One Division (Crossover Entries)

A crossover entry is entering more than one division within a category. For example, someone may enter the Novice division, if eligible, and also crossover into the Open division and compete in it as well. Competitors may not participate in more than one category (Bikini, Figure, Physique, Bodybuilding, Classic Physique) at any given show.

Awards

The 1st place competitor in all classes will receive a custom trophy.
Competitors in places 2nd-5th will receive custom OCB medals.
First place winners battling for the overall open winner for each category will also win a trophy cup.

*Pro status in every category is contingent upon proper number of competitors, negative polygraph, and negative urine sample*

Eligibility

All competitors are required to be current members of OCB to participate in this event. If needing to obtain the annual membership, please register by August 4th. Memberships can be purchased on OCBonline.com.

This is a natural (drug-free) competition. All competitors must meet eligibility criteria listed in the OCB drug testing guidelines to participate. Prior to registering, competitors should review the procedures and list of banned substances posted on OCBonline.com

Banned Substances Screening Methods

All competitors are required to be polygraph tested prior to competing. In addition, all pro qualifying placement winners required to provide a urine specimen immediately after the conclusion of the event for urinalysis.

Check-In/ Polygraph Screenings

Check-in will be at Hilton Lexington/Downtown on August 11, 2023 starting at 3:00pm and concluding once all competitors have checked in. Day of check-ins will need to be communicated to promoter prior to event.

Polygraphs will be at Hilton Lexington/Downtown on August 11, 2023, based on polygrapher’s availability. To schedule an appointment, (details for how to schedule TBA). The polygraph fee is $60 and is payable in cash only at the time of testing. Exact change would be appreciated. Please schedule your polygraph appointment before your spray tanning appointment if doing both the same day. Polygraphs are valid for 3 weeks between competitions. Click here to book a polygraph

Music

All competitors for women’s physique, men’s classic physique, and bodybuilding categories are to send their routine music mp3 or m4a file as an email attachment to femalemuscle93@gmail.com. Music must not to contain any profanity. If music is not received for any competitors by August 4th at 7:00pm, house music will be used for them the day of the event. If needed, mp3 files of songs can be purchased from Amazon.com for around $1, downloaded, and then emailed as a file attachment. All music must be sent as a digital file. Competitors can send complete songs if they wish, the music would just be faded out after the stage walk is finished. For Bodybuilding, Men’s Classic Physique and Women's Physique, when sending music state whether the music should start after you get set on stage, or before you come out.

Backstage Policy

One assistant max per competitor is allowed backstage. The assistant must purchase a Coaches ticket, which is good for general admission and backstage access. Coaches can only be backstage prior to the start of the competition.

Please respect the environment we have backstage and do not lean against the walls after you have been spray tanned and glazed. When not on stage or preparing to step on stage competitors should be in a robe or clothes approved by our tanner.

If competitors want to watch the show, please wear a robe or clothing while in the auditorium.

Competitor Prep Area

Light weights, bands and mirrors will be backstage for use in preparing to go on stage. Competitors are welcome to bring their own equipment and mirrors as well.
