Time & Format

Running format style 8AM - doors open for competitors 9AM - doors open to public 10AM- competition begins. Contest will end by 4:30p (event will run straight through with a 30-minute intermission after group comparisons and before individual presentations/awards).

Tickets

Adult - $60 Kids (5-10 years old) - $25 Kids under 5 - free Tickets can be purchased in advance online or at the door the day of the competition. Online and cash payments are accepted at the door.

Entry Fees & Deadlines

$105 per division. Starting midnight on August 1, additional late fee of $60 applies. August 10th is the last day entries are accepted. *NOTE: Entry fees and tickets are non-refundable.

Categories

Categories being offered are Women’s: Bikini, Figure, Wellness, Physique, Transformation and Men’s: Bodybuilding, Physique, Classic Physique, Transformation. Competitors may not participate in more than one category at a show.

Bikini: Teen, Debut, Novice, Age 35+, Age 50+, Open Figure: Debut, Novice, Age 35+, Age 50+, Open Women’s Physique: Debut, Novice, Age 35+, Age 50+, Open Women’s Wellness: Debut, Novice, Age 35+, Age 50+, Open Women’s Transformation Men’s Physique: Teen, Debut, Novice, Age 40+, Age 50+, Open Men’s Classic Physique: Teen, Debut, Novice, Age 40+, Age 50+, Open Men’s Bodybuilding: Debut, Novice, Age 40+, Age 50+, Age 60+, Open Men’s Transformation TEEN ELIGIBILITY: The required minimum age for participation in an OCB contest is 16. Proof of age must be provided at the time of contest check-in.rnA parent or legal guardian must accompany the minor to check-in and be present backstage. A signed waiver is required of all minors as well as their parent/guardian and will be presented during check-in. DEBUT ELIGIBILITY: First competition ever. Competitors that have never competed in any category with any organization. NOVICE ELIGIBILITY: Cannot have placed first in any class (besides Teen), within any division, within any category, with any organization (with the exception of cases where first place was won in a class that only had one competitor in it).

Classes

If more than 10 competitors in a division then it will be split into classes divided evenly by height.

Awards

Awards will be presented to the top 5 winners in each class. Awards include OCB medals and custom Windy City medals, Murry Inspirational Award and 6-foot team trophy. 1st place winner also receives a gold sculpture award, custom Core Nutritionals bag, Core Nutritionals protein and shaker and posing suit gift certificate from Vandella Costumes. OCB Pro Cards will be awarded to Open and Men's Masters 40+, Women's 35+, Overall winners when minimum entries are met.

Eligibility

All competitors are required to be current members of OCB to participate in this event. If needing to obtain the annual membership, please register by a week before the event. Memberships can be purchased on OCBonline.com. This is a natural (drug-free) competition. All competitors must meet eligibility criteria listed in the OCB drug testing guidelines in order to participate. Prior to registering, competitors should review the procedures and list of banned substances posted on OCBonline.comrn

Banned Substances Screening Methods

All competitors are required to be drug screened prior to competing. In addition, all OCB pro qualifying placement winners are required to provide a urine specimen immediately after the conclusion of the event for urinalysis.

Check-Ins/Drug Screenings

ALL competitors MUST check-in at the host hotel on Friday, August, 15th between 5-7p. Drug screens are $60 and is payable in cash directly to the tester at the time of your test. After your entry is received, a link will be emailed to you to schedule your time.

Music

Routine music can be submitted for Bodybuilding, Classic Physique and Women’s physique.  File needs to be mp3 or m4a format and emailed to Brian at bphysique1@gmail.com no later than August 9th. Music CANNOT contain any profanity. If you choose to not submit your own music then house music will be played for you. House music will be provided for Men’s Physique, Figure, Wellness and Bikini.

Backstage Policy

Backstage passes are available for $25 and can be purchased during check-in’s and/or day of the competition. All competitors are allowed one assistant/coach backstage. ASSISTANT/COACH STILL HAS TO PURCHASE A THEATRE TICKET TO WATCH THE SHOW.

Competitor Prep Area

Mirrors, dumbbells and bands will be backstage for use in preparing to go onstage. Competitors are welcome to bring their own equipment as well.

Video Recording Policy

Competitors and friends/family are welcome to bring any recording devices as long as they do not obstruct the view of event staff or other spectators.

ALL of the Windy City competitors have the option of being submitted to Chicago’s Lily’s Talent Agency for an opportunity to get into acting, modeling and voice over’s in the entertainment industry!!
