This show is an OCB Pro Qualifier: Overall winners in Open, Masters Age 35+/40+
Pro Cards will be awarded in Open and Masters classes when minimum entries are met.

Time

Show starts at 9:00 am and will run through with only a short intermission. The show is a short format. There is no night show

Tickets will be sold at the door on the day of the show.

Drug Testing

This is a natural (drug-free) competition. All competitors must meet eligibility criteria listed in the Drug Testing Guidelines in order to participate. Competitors should review these procedures and the list of banned substances at www.ocbonline.com.

All competitors are required to be polygraph tested prior to competing. In addition any pro card winners are required to provide urine specimens immediately after the event for urinalysis testing. Photo identification must be shown prior to polygraph tests and at the time of urine specimen collections. Any competitor not polygraph tested or any above referenced pro card winner not supplying a urine specimen immediately after the contest will be subject to disqualification.

Membership

All competitors are required to be current members of OCB to participate in this event. Membership forms and online registration options can be found on OCBonline.com at the top of the Upcoming Events/Schedule page, or membership can be obtained at check-in for the event. Cost is $80 for the annual membership.

Men's Bodybuilding: Debut, Novice, Open, 40+, 50+, 60+, Heroes
Men's Classic Physique: Open, Age 40, Heroes
Men's Physique: Debut, Novice, Open, 40+, 50+, Heroes
Bikini: Open, Novice, Debut, 35+, 45+, Heroes
Wellness: Debut, Novice, Open, 35+, 45+, Heroes
Figure: Novice, Debut, Open, 35+, 45+, Heroes
Women's Physique: Novice, Open, Heroes

Number of classes for each division will be based on the number of entries in each class. Promoter reserves the right to add or drop classes based on number of entries.

Classes

When more than one class in a division, classes are formed by dividing competitors evenly by height. (Class breakdowns and the order of events will be supplied to competitors the day of the event).

Crossovers

A "crossover" is entering more than one division. For example, someone may enter the Figure Novice division, if eligible, and also elect to crossover into the Figure Open division and compete in it as well. Crossovers between the Figure, Bikini and Women's Physique categories are not permitted.

Awards

Awards for top 5 placements in each class and overalls for any split classes.

Entry Fees & Deadlines

Early registration discount: Entry $79 and Crossover $39 through 4/25/23. After 4/25/23: Entry $99, Crossover Entry $69 for each additional class. Fees non-refundable. OCB Membership: $115 (if not already a current member). Polygraph screening $60 (Polygraph fee not refunded if not passing and is paid directly to the examiner, cash only). Check-Ins & Polygraphs

To schedule the drug testing go to the OCB website and look under the Spirit of America under upcoming events and schedule your appointment on the link provided on the information page. All contestants are encouraged to check in the day before the show. Polygraphs are $60 made payable to the examiner in cash during the time of testing. Click here to schedule the polygraph

Contestant Meeting

There will not be a contestant meeting. The promoter will send out details during peak week.

Backstage Policy

One assistant max per competitor allowed, assistant MUST buy a trainer/assistant ticket, which is good for general admission and back stage access.

Pump-Up Area

There is an ample area back stage for use in pumping up before going on stage. Competitors are welcome to bring their own equipment and mirrors; however, due to school rules no heavy equipment will be provided by the promoters.

Stage photography available on the day of the show. Spray Tanning will be available on site from Elite Bronzing.com

Prejudging

The Prejudging portion of the event will consist of: Bodybuilding, Figure and Bikini group comparisons.

Finals

The Finals portion of the event will consist of: Bikini and figure stage walks in numerical order to house music followed by bodybuilding posing display and bio to house music. For those male and female bodybuilders who wish to compete for the best presentation they will be allowed 60 seconds to pose to their email music to spiritofamerica00@gmail.com no later than 4/26/2023 and use of props is allowed. This will be followed by awards starting with Bikini, Men's Bodybuilding, Women's Physique and Figure. Overalls will be done at the end of each division. ALL POSING AND STAGE WALKS ARE OPTIONAL AND NOT SCORED FOR THIS EVENT

Tickets

Prejudging: Adult all-day Admission $40, Under 10 Admission $10. Finals: Assistant Ticket/Back Stage Pass: $60 (only applicable to those helping a competitor prepare back stage. One assistant max per competitor is permitted. Coach/assistant tickets are good for general admission and back stage access).

Awards

Awards will be given to the top 5 in every class.
