OCB Volunteer State Classic (Pro Qualifier*)

OCB pro cards are awarded in the Open, Masters Age 35+ (women), or Age 40+ (men) divisions when registration minimums are met.

Time & Format. **NEW SHOW TIME!**

The show will begin promptly at 11:00 AM Central Time—Event will run straight through with a 30-minute intermission after group comparisons and before individual presentations/awards).

Tickets

Adult General Admission $30, Under Age 12 $20, Coach’s pass (general admission plus backstage access): $45 (only applicable to those helping a competitor prepare backstage). One assistant max per competitor is permitted. Tickets will also be available for purchase at the door the day of the contest.

Entry Fees & Deadlines

If entry is received by August 7: Entry $69. Entry fee for each additional class $49. After August 7th an additional late entry fee of $40 applies. August 20th is the last day entries will be accepted.

Categories

Categories being offered are Bikini, Wellness, Figure, Women’s Physique, Bodybuilding, Men’s Physique, and Men’s Classic Physique. Competitors may not participate in more than one category at a show.

Men’s Classic Physique: Teen, Junior, Debut, Novice, Open, Masters 35+, Masters 45+, Masters 55+
Men’s Bodybuilding: Teen, Junior, Debut, Novice, Open, Masters 35+, Masters 45+, Masters 55+

DEBUT ELIGIBILITY: First competition ever. Competitors cannot have ever competed in any category with any organization.

NOVICE ELIGIBILITY: Cannot have placed first in any class (besides Teen), within any division, within any category, with any organization (with the exception of cases where first place was won in a class that only had one competitor in it).

TEEN: Ages 16-19. *under age 18 with parental consent

JUNIOR: Age 22 and under. *under age 18 with parental consent

Classes

When more than one class in a division, classes are formed by dividing competitors evenly by height.

Entering More than One Division (Crossover Entries)

A crossover entry is entering more than one division within a category. For example, someone may enter the Novice division, if eligible, and crossover into the Open division and compete in it as well. Competitors may not participate in more than one category (Bikini, Figure, Physique, Bodybuilding, Classic Physique) at any given show.

Awards

Awards will be presented to the top 5 placement winners in each class.

Eligibility

All competitors are required to be current members of OCB to participate in this event. If needing to obtain the annual membership, please register by a week before the event. Memberships can be purchased on OCBonline.com. This is a natural (drug-free) competition. All competitors must meet eligibility criteria listed in the OCB drug testing guidelines to participate. Prior to registering, competitors should review the procedures and list of banned substances posted on OCBonline.com

Banned Substances Screening Methods

All competitors are required to be polygraph tested prior to competing. In addition, all pro qualifying placement winners in each class are required to provide a urine specimen immediately after the conclusion of the event for urinalysis.

Check in and polygraphs will take place Friday, August 26th at the host hotel

Group name: OCB Volunteer State. Nightly rate of $109 for a double queen when mentioning the group block. It’s recommended to make reservations by 07/13.

Backstage Policy

One assistant max per competitor is allowed backstage. The assistant must purchase a trainer/assistant ticket, which is good for general admission and backstage access.

Competitor Prep Area

Light dumbbells and bands will be backstage for use in preparing to go on stage. Competitors are encouraged to bring their own equipment and mirrors as well.
