Bodybuilding, Men’s Physique and Classic Physique. Each class will begin with group comparisons/individual presentations and finish with awards. We will do a 15 minute intermission and then Women’s Physique, Bikini and Figure group comparisons/individual presentations and awards.
Adult General Admission (valid all day) $50. Children (under 13) FREE. Tickets are available for presale at www.essentialfitness.com through November 19th at 7:00 PM EST. Competitors ONLY are allowed backstage. There will be plenty of space not back stage for your coaches to help assist you. rnTickets are non-refundable. Cash and credit will be accepted the day of the event.
Entry Fees & Deadlines
$75 for all entries postmarked (received) by 10/23/22, $135 for applications postmarked (received) after 10/23/22. Entry fees are non-refundable. For crossovers - $55 additional fee. (Crossovers are only permitted from Novice to Open to Masters in the same category)
Categories and Division Offerings
Categories being offered are Bikini, Figure, Women's Physique, Men's Bodybuilding, Men's Physique, Classic Physique, and Mixed Pairs.
Amateur Divisions Offered:
Amateur Bikini: Novice, Age 35+, Age 50+, Open
Amateur Figure: Novice, Age 35+, Open
Amateur Men's Physique: Novice, Open
Amateur Men's Classic Physique: Open
Amateur Men's Bodybuilding: Novice, Age 40+, Age 50+, Age 60+, Open
Amateur Women's Physique: Open
AMATEUR NOVICE ELIGIBILITY: Cannot have placed first in any class (besides Teen), within any division, within any category, with any organization (with the exception of cases where first place was won in a class that only had one competitor in it).
When more than one class in a division, Bikini and Figure will be divided by height. Bodybuilding and Men's Physique will be divided by weight.
Crossover Entries (entering more than one division within a category)
A crossover entry (amateur) is entering more than one division within a category. For example, someone may enter the Novice division, if eligible, and also elect to crossover into the Open division and compete in it as well. Neither amateur or pro competitors may participate in more than one category (Bikini, Figure, Physique, Bodybuilding, Classic Physique) at any given show.
Amateur: The top 5 in each class will receive sculptured awards.
Competitors participating in amateur divisions are required to hold current amateur OCB memberships to participate in this event. Competitors participating in pro divisions are required to hold current pro OCB memberships to participate in this event. If needing to obtain either an amateur or a pro annual OCB membership, please register by a week before the event. Memberships can be purchased on OCBonline.com.
This is a natural (drug-free) competition. All competitors must meet eligibility criteria listed in the OCB drug testing guidelines in order to participate. Prior to registering competitors should review the procedures and list of banned substances posted on OCBonline.com.
Drug Screening Methods
All competitors are required to be polygraph tested prior to competing. In addition, all pro qualifying placement winners are required to provide a urine specimen immediately after the conclusion of the event for urinalysis.
Competitor Prep Area
There won't be a contestant briefing the day of the show. All information that would generally be provided is listed on this page, so please read everything carefully. Please refer to OCBonline.com for complete details of category guidelines. An email will also be sent out one week before the show. Everything you need to know will be provided there as well.
Professional Services Vendors
Please note that the companies/individuals listed below are the official service vendors for this event. They have a proven history of providing quality services in a professional manner. Beware of other companies or individuals who may attempt to unethically promote a business, claiming to be associated with the event.
Stage Photography Coverage
Stage photo coverage services will be available from Robert Thomas Photography. We will go over this in the competitor email we send out prior to the show. We also will have a link posted with the results at www.essentialfitness.com after the show.
Video Recording Policy
Competitors and friends/family are welcome to bring recording devices. NO TRIPODS!
Spray Tanning Services

Bodybuilders and Women's Physique must bring your own music either on a thumb drive or smartphone/60 sec max. Please make sure your thumb drive contains posing music only. If using thumb drive or smartphone please have it cued to where you would like to start your routine. Figure, Bikini, and Men's Physique will present to house music (our choice). If you have a request on house music please ask Reggie if he has it available. Profanity of any kind will not be permitted with your song. Make sure it's clean.
Hair and Make-up
Competitors are welcome to bring anyone of their choosing for hair & make-up services.
Coaches: No one other than competitors and event staff are permitted in the pump up area. There is an area just outside the pump up area if you require additional help from your friend. No coaches passes.
