OCB Lone Star Rising (Conditional Pro Qualifier)

This contest is a Conditional Pro Qualifier: A minimum of 3 competitors must be entered in a division for a pro card to be awarded in the Open or Masters 40+

Time

Pre-Judging Begins at 10 am, Show Will Run Straight Through Followed by a 20 Minute Intermission, then Presentations and Awards

Tickets

Adult General Admission $40, Children Ages 3-12 General Admission $10, Ages 2 and under FREE. Coach/Assistant (general admission plus backstage access): $50 (only applicable to those helping a competitor prepare back stage). Note: One assistant max per competitor is permitted. Cash recommended. Credit cards will be accepted, but a 2.5% fee will be applied.

Entry Fee & Deadlines

If registration is received by 6/1/2021: Entry $125. Entry fee for each additional class $50. After June 1, 2021, a late entry fee of $50 applies. July 10th is the last day entries will be accepted.

Teen: Age 16-19
Bikini: Debut, Novice, Age 40+, Open
Figure: Debut, Novice, Age 50+, Age 40+, Open
Men's Physique: Debut, Novice, Age 40+, Open
Men's Classic Physique: Debut, Novice, Age 40+, Open
Men's Bodybuilding: Debut, Novice, Age 60+, Age 50+, Age 40+, Open, Physically Challenged
Women's Physique: Debut, Open
Military, Veteran and First Responders

DEBUT First time competing in any organization.

NOVICE ELIGIBILITY: Cannot have placed first in any class (besides Teen), within any division, within any category, with any organization (with the exception of cases where first place was won in a class that only had one competitor in it).

Classes

When more than one class in a division, classes are formed by dividing competitors evenly by height. Athletes in same division will be judged for the Military, Veteran, First Responder class immediately after all height classes in that division have been judged.

Crossovers - Entering More Than One Division

A crossover entry is entering more than one division within a category. For example, someone may enter the Novice division, if eligible, and also crossover into the Open division and compete in it as well. Competitors may not participate in more than one category (Bikini, Figure, Physique, Bodybuilding, Classic Physique) at any given show.

Awards

Eligibility

All competitors are required to be current members of OCB to participate in this event. If needing to obtain the annual membership, please register by a week before the event. Memberships can be purchased on OCBonline.com. This is a natural (drug-free) competition. All competitors must meet eligibility criteria listed in the OCB drug testing guidelines in order to participate. Prior to registering, competitors should review the procedures and list of banned substances posted on OCBonline.com or if using testedshows.com's online registration: All competitors are required to be current members of OCB to participate in this event. If needing to obtain the annual membership, please register by a week before the event. Memberships can be purchased on OCBonline.com

Banned Substances/Screening Methods

All competitors are required to be polygraph tested prior to competing. In addition, all pro qualifying placement are required to provide a urine specimen immediately after the conclusion of the event for urinalysis.

Music & Individual Presenations

All competitors for every category are to send their 60 second routine/stage walk music mp3 or m4a file as an email attachment to Transformnikky@gmail.com. Music must not to contain any profanity. If music is not received for any competitors, house music will be used for them the day of the event. If needed, mp3 files of songs can be purchased from Amazon.com for around $1, downloaded, and then emailed as a file attachment. All music must be sent as a digital file. Competitors can send complete songs if they wish, the music would just be faded out after the stage walk is finished. For Bodybuilding, Men's Classic Physique and Women's Physique, when sending music state whether the music should start after you get set on stage, or before you come out.rnrnPresentations will be a one minute routine. The stage will be marked with blue tape so athlete's will know where to hit their pose. Competitors will walk to the rear center of the stage and hit a pose, then walk to the front center and hit a pose, then walk to the right of the stage and pose, walk to other side of stage and pose, then back to front center of stage and do final pose. Athletes must finish their routine by end of the 60 second song. One prop is permitted for use in athlete's routine.

Backstage Policy

One assistant max per competitor is allowed backstage and will be issued a wrist band. The assistant must purchase a trainer/assistant ticket, which is good for general admission and back stage access. No wrist band, no access. Spray tanning will not be allowed backstage accept by the host tanner. Our tanner is trusted by the OCB and the promoter, they take the utmost pride in the athlete's look for stage. We highly recommend you use them for tanning services. No loud music will be permitted, as this inhibits the other athletes from hearing when their number is called. We ask that everyone backstage respectfully conduct themselves in a manner that is professional and supportive so that everyone has a chance to hear their number and the expediters are not struggling to get the athletes lined up.

Competitor Prep Area

It is recommended that athletes bring their own bands, light weights and mirrors to the show. Do not get tanner on the walls, floors or seats. We need to have respect for the facility and leave it as clean as it was before we arrived.
